As Chief Legal Officer of MediaKind, Chuck is responsible for the global legal function of the company. With extensive public company, private equity, M&A and securities experience, Chuck has served as the chief legal officer of both publicly traded and private equity backed technology companies, including in the TMT space.

Prior to MediaKind, Chuck was the EVP and Chief Legal Officer of Imagine Communications (including GatesAir). While at Imagine Communications, Chuck was responsible for the global legal function reporting to the CEO and Board, and worked collaboratively with its private equity sponsor. At Imagine, Chuck negotiated several multimillion dollar monetary recoveries, closed multiple multinational acquisitions, enhanced the governance and compliance framework, led from a legal perspective the company’s global rebranding, and successfully quarterbacked various litigation matters and favorable settlements.

Prior to Imagine Communications, Chuck was the SVP and General Counsel of SourceHOV (f/k/a SOURCECORP and now part of Exela Technologies Inc.), a global transaction process outsourcing company, which he joined when publicly traded. While at SourceHOV, Chuck was responsible for the full legal function, reported to the CEO and the Board, led from a legal perspective numerous acquisitions and other transformative transactions (including its go private transaction sponsored by Apollo Management), and advised the Board, Audit Committee, independent directors and executives on a broad range of business, fiduciary duty, regulatory and strategic issues.

Prior to SourceHOV, Chuck was a partner in the corporate security section of Jackson Walker LLP, an old-line Texas-based law firm, where he represented both public and private clients in M&A, securities and other transactional or regulatory matters.

Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Texas, and his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.
