Moore Macauley, Chief Architect, leads MediaKind’s Architecture organization, providing technical direction and architectural governance across the company’s engineering portfolio. While shaping the company’s long-term technology strategy, he ensures engineering investments deliver secure, scalable platforms that create lasting business value while guiding the adoption of emerging technologies.
Drawing on experience across engineering, product management, and executive technology leadership, Moore brings deep expertise in video encoding, media delivery, and platform architecture. Prior to joining MediaKind, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Harmonic’s Video Business, following earlier leadership roles in Product Line Management, and began his career as a Systems Engineer at BT Broadcast Services, where he helped launch Digital Terrestrial Television in the UK and was recognized with the BT Gold Medal. Throughout his career, Moore has combined deep technical expertise with a value-driven approach, simplifying complexity and empowering engineering teams to deliver innovations, including Harmonic’s first software encoder and SaaS platform.
Moore holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester. A passionate outdoorsman and music enthusiast, Moore enjoys hiking, sailing, attending live concerts, and spending time with his family.
