Richard brings deep expertise in video streaming, cloud technologies, and media systems architecture, built over a career spanning engineering, solution design, and strategy. Before joining MediaKind, he spent nearly a decade at Comcast, where he built scalable IP video platforms serving tens of millions of customers. He led the architecture of Rio, Comcast’s distributed cloud DVR system, and developed video packaging technologies that improved resiliency and streaming quality. Throughout his career, he has paired technical depth with a customer-focused mindset, turning emerging technologies into practical solutions that create lasting value for customers and the business.
