As the principal theme behind our Las Vegas debut as MediaKind, we’re very excited to able to take our NAB Show visitors on a unique adventure of exploration through the MediaKind Universe – our industry-leading solution and service portfolio. We believe it will be one of the most illuminating showcases seen on this year’s showfloor!
By taking one small step onto our booth (#SU720), explorers will take a giant leap into the media landscape that begins at our Universe Exploration panel, a custom made, touch-screen display, located at the front of the stand. From here our team of experts will guide visitors through an interactive window into the media processing and delivery space, offering a complete picture of our leading solution and service portfolio like never before.
Leveraging an array of customizable, dynamic solutions that align as constellations across the MediaKind Universe, visitors will be encouraged to present real use-case scenarios and challenges that our team can resolve on behalf of all industry players. We will offer tailored pathways for content owners and originators, broadcasters and pay TV service providers to take charge and meet the requirements of their personal missions, while ultimately still delivering the compelling and innovative experiences that consumers demand.
The next stage of our mission involves hosting our guests at one of five on-booth zones that best address their opportunities. Each zone consists of best-in-class solutions aligned to a specific trajectory with how content is delivered to the consumer and manifests in the real world as defined workflows. They include Cygnus (Contribution and Primary Distribution); Pictor (Optimized storage and delivery); Aquila (Direct-to-consumer processing); Orion (Consumer experience); and Vega (Global media services delivery and support).
Our guide to the Universe will culminate at the center of the booth, where the consumer is positioned, at the middle of the media galaxy – encircled by choice and how, what and where to watch, and with the best possible quality. There, visitors will discover the very latest in personalized media experiences including the unique possibility of immersive 360 video delivered as-a-service.
