FRISCO, TEXAS – April 11, 2019 – MediaKind, a global media technology leader, has won the 2019 NAB Show Product of the Year award within the Asset Management, Automation & Playout category for its placement and content distribution rights management (Prisma) application. The 2019 NAB Show Product of the Year Awards, which took place on Wednesday evening 10 April at the Westgate, Las Vegas, recognizes the most significant and promising new products and technologies being showcased by exhibitors at the show. MediaKind was previously recognized at this year’s show by winning the prestigious ‘NAB Technology Innovation Award’ for ‘Enabling 6K tiled 360-degree live sports streaming.’

MediaKind’s placement and content distribution rights management (Prisma) product ingests, manages, distributes and enforces Content Distribution Rights to deliver a personalized and relevant video experience while providing full content rights and local regulatory compliance and increasing the content and audience monetization potential. Prisma is based on widely adopted standards (SCTE-35/104, ESNI 224, ESAM) and enables multiple use cases: Viewing Rights Definition and Distribution, Content Enrichment (Logo/Crawler Insertion), Alternate Content Management (Blackout, Regional Switch-Over) as well as TV Advertising use cases. Both Regional Ad Replacement and Targeted Ad Insertion/Replacement applications are supported with the addition of the Stream Personalization Server Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) product.
